Jessica Salcedo, our program specialist of 21st Century Learning, has identified a professional learning goal of improving her public speaking to the point that in one year, she can speak impromptu on any topic related to 21st Century Learning. To support this learning goal, This Friday, she was at a conference with the Math in Common Design Institute team (shout out to her fellow team members Nadia Hillman, Executive Director of Elementary Education, Laily Rinkel, Math Curriculum Specialist, and Tami Davis, district librarian), and still came through with the State of the Department address by sending us a video of the address. By the way, Jessica also has a short-term professional learning goal of producing videos for the department using Final Cut Pro X; this is another example of her learning! We’d like to share it with you. Enjoy! And please join Jessica and us – and the 21st Century Learning department – on our learning journey!
PS. If you want to join us on our journey with testing personalized learning plans and are interested in setting up a professional learning journal, message me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
